Request-a-doodle Friday: June 15, 2007

Another Friday is here. Put down your pencils, turn over your papers, and, as my kids are finishing up another school year, come up with your best request-a-doodle. Extra points for embarrassing or icky school-days mishaps from your past or present.
As always, put your requests in the comments of this post!

Hooray - I'm finally here on Friday!!!

We used to play pranks on the guys all the time - sports heat rub on the toilet handles going into the change room was a favourite...

You could hear the howls after they scratched their nether regions!!!

Please draw two pictures of the Moat Monster, who lived in the creek that flowed through our neighborhood. One picture should be a professional portrait/head shot, the other full body.

Anyway, all the kids were afraid of him. Of course, all the older kids had "seen him" and tried to scare us with stories. Anyway, my brother and I for some reason imagined him looking kind of like a fat creature from the black lagoon with big fish lips, but wearing a yellow t-shirt that said "Moat Monster."

I was sitting in math class in 7th grade when I accidentally dropped my right hand on top of a recently-sharpened pencil I held in my left.

"Ouch," I said, raising my right hand. The pencil came along with it, firmly planted in my skin. Next to me, pretty Patty Rayburn recoiled in horror.

The palm of my hand still has a gray dot from where the graphite stained my skin forever.

Zoe would like to request a doodle of a ghost playing XBox360 with its eyes melting out of its sockets and brain dripping out of its ears.

A friend on mine got a new Weber grill the other day and was going to use the rotisserie to cook a chicken.

How about a doodle of the chicken cooking on the rotisserie wondering how he got there. Extra points for a visualization of the chicken's "dream sequence".

Ok, Doodle Boy, pick up your pencil and "take a drink" as you read my request.

I would like you to draw the Incredible Two-Headed Transplant (or whatever that movie was called) using the following characters: Steiny and Craig. You may take liberties as to which one is sad and which is mad.

Please have this creature riding a Huffy Banana Seat Bike, with a mini Child (of the Richard persuasion) sitting on the handlebars.

This would make me most happy. I dedicate it to Mark if he's out there. It's like...
