Optimistists or Fools?
I did this last week and now am trying to understand whether I think children are eternal optimists or fools for thinking they'll get different results with the same behavior year after year. Am I just a crabby old man or am I just calling them like I sees them?

Optimists often are looked at as foolish, (until their optimism pays off, whence they are called visionaries), so, yes, you are a crabby old man who calls them as he sees them:-) Crab dip, anyone?
