Cat and Squirrel Skull Battle 6pack postcard

Shannon recently got in touch about a drawing she liked and was going to get back to me about something. I decided to draw her a beer six pack postcard since I stalked sleuthed out her postal address through one of her emails. Hopefully she won't mind the Philadelphia Brewing Company Joe Coffee Porter front.

Skull & Two-Legged Cat

No reason behind today's rough sketch. Some coffee stains on a crinkled piece of paper. Last sheet in the pad. Didn't like the feel of the pencil on the paper. I've been trying these Bic Pencils but they're a shade harder than the old reliable PaperMate pencils. Got frustrated and just blew off the cat's rear legs. He'll deal with it, dragging himself around where he needs to be.

Traffic

A year ago I left my old job and its guaranteed 1 hour commute each way for a 25-30 minute commute each way. I'm still loving the new commute but there are still days where I roll the dice wrong and get tied up in a jam-up like this evening, watching the sun go down.

School Pictures

It's that time of year for the kids to get their school pictures taken and a few weeks later we get them back and we don't like out how they came out because inevitably the photo is taken right after gym class and they are red in the face, sweaty and in their gym shirt. Then we get a refund or schedule a retake and, eventually, they still end up looking like some strange child that's not our own -- combed hair, forced crooked smile, cheesy bad backdrop.
