Request-A-Doodle Friday

The 2nd Request-A-Doodle Friday is here. Add your requests to the comments, and sometime in the next week I’ll try to doodle one or more requests while I’m in meetings or just doodling. It’s already ‘hot’ in Australia!

A special (U.S. holiday) Memorial Day weekend request-a-doodle kick off to summer. Request a doodle by leaving a comment on this post and I may doodle it sometime over the next week. Be creative and/or demented, but not too detailed — remember the idea is something i can ‘whip up’ during a lull in a meeting or phone call.

This is the first true ‘doodle’ in a while. Less a finished product; more just a doodle of ideas around the theme during a conference call this morning.

One of the problems with request-a-doodle is that I don’t always doodle near the internet — so I don’t always remember exactly what the request was. In this instance, I now realize that this fellow is missing his order of chips y salsa. Sorry, CF.

Deborah — don’t know if the missing chips y salsa throw off what you were looking for but here it is anyway. If you want to use it on your blog go for it, please just include a link back and my copyright info.

Smelly Felly said…In honor of you, I’d like to see a doodle of a man answering what he thinks is his cell phone, but it’s actually a poop. Extra points for details in the poop (i.e. corn).

Friday the 13th: Request A Doodle Day!

Was emailing with a friend today about my doodles and I said to him that I would fulfill doodle requests if he wanted something for his desk/cubicle. That got me thinking that I could open that up to all mcglinch.com/blog visitors. It will give me ideas to work on during those days where I have none and give you, special visitors, a chance to get something in return for your loyalty.

So, let the requests begin. Friday will be request-a-doodle day and my goal will be to fulfill at least one request by Friday. If I do more, I’ll post more and we’ll see how it goes. Leave your requests in the comments!

It’s Friday so it’s request-a-doodle day. Request a doodle by adding a comment to this post on “Friday” (or close to it if Friday’s already passed you by on the other side).

a. I think Request-a-doodle friday is only adding to the sensation that time is flying by. Summer’s almost over and Fall is around the corner.

b. Perhaps a change to “request-a-creation” (or would it be “request-an-evolution”?), “request-a-drawing”, “request-a-whatever-I-do” will be forthcoming since ‘doodle’ doesn’t necessarily fit.

c. this week’s extra credit goes to topics that are ‘morose’ (thanks to the Yeti for the idea).

PS. If I didn’t get to your request, I may get to it in the future, there is no expiration on requests — I keep them stashed away for future needs.
