April Story Slam Poster: Good Intentions

Latest West Chester Story Slam poster for April 2010. If you're in the West Chester area, swing by for a beer and a listen or, if you're adventurous, tell a story. At the very least you'll end up on the Youtube (that's me in the very back. You can't see me but I'm having a Victory Hop Devil.)

I actually drew this flower guy the opposite but he didn't fit on the poster that way. So I flipped in Photoshop which beats the heck out of the alternative of redrawing him the opposite way.

Cat and Squirrel Skull Battle 6pack postcard

Shannon recently got in touch about a drawing she liked and was going to get back to me about something. I decided to draw her a beer six pack postcard since I stalked sleuthed out her postal address through one of her emails. Hopefully she won't mind the Philadelphia Brewing Company Joe Coffee Porter front.

Big Eye

This sketch was really big sketch. Biggest I've done in a decade, maybe? Usually, I confine myself to the bottom of my notebook, a sticky note, or other scrap of paper that fits in among the mess on my desk.

I drew this in the kids' basement craft room which I fully intend to take over in the coming weeks/months/years.

It's drawn on the last piece of newsprint from a roll that I got from The Daily Local News in 1981 when we needed them for making banners and posters at Henderson High School. They used to -- and perhaps still do -- give away the 'end of the roll' of newsprint if you asked nicely.

This guy reminds me of this cow.

Referee

I've seen a lot of NCAA Div 1 college hoops over the past two weeks. And a lot of referees. Must be why this came out of my head today while pondering cooking techniques.
