This sketch was really big sketch. Biggest I've done in a decade, maybe? Usually, I confine myself to the bottom of my
notebook, a
sticky note, or other
scrap of paper that fits in among the mess on my desk.
I drew this in the kids' basement craft room which I fully intend to take over in the coming weeks/months/years.
It's drawn on the last piece of newsprint from a roll that I got from
The Daily Local News in 1981 when we needed them for making banners and posters at
Henderson High School. They used to -- and perhaps still do -- give away the 'end of the roll' of newsprint if you asked nicely.
This guy reminds me of
this cow.
