Request-a-doodle Friday June 23, 2007

Listen to the words I am about to tell you. It is Request-a-doodle Friday again.

My poor suffering little children finally have their last day of school today. I usually pick them up on their last day and crank this song up for them as I arrive in the pick up line.

So enjoy the video and place your request in the comments of this posting. Extra points for childhood summer vacation awkward, uncomfortable, embarrassing, icky moments.

Today was Jake's first swim lesson. So there we are swimming in the pool together and I notice A LOT of bubbles coming up from the water...And Jake has a BIG smile on his face.

No - this was not a scene from Caddyshack but comical (to me) none the less.

Can you draw Jake and his dad laughing in the pool surrounded by bubbles coming from Jake's bathing suit?

I was at sleepaway camp one year. The camp had cabin inspections where we needed to tidy up.

Right before one of the inspections, and as the inspectors were approaching, a kid dropped his pants and ripped a huge fart in the doorway. When he looked down, he had taken a crap. He picked it up and threw it into the woods. We proceeded to line up immediately for the inspection, with remnants of crap still on his hands.

Do what you will with this visualization...

my wife would love to see a doodle that has the caption " I'm glad I'm not responsible for that part of the boat" the doodle would be four executives in a boat, the two in the back are bailing water while the two in front are paddling the boat and speaking the caption. this only has to do with a summer experience because she is experiencing it during summer.

two words:

rocket pop!

You know, those frozen desserts that you could buy from the ice cream man, on the roving truck. Many fond summer memories as a kid that involved tri-colored confectionaries.

I figure I'm not officially late, since you typed friday as the 23rd :)
